Dr. Richmond Roeske is a board-certified Ophthalmologist specializing in general ophthalmology, cataract surgery with intraocular lens implantation, LASIK and refractive surgery, and micro-invasive glaucoma surgery.
Dr. Roeske has been with Pacific Eye Institute since 2000 and brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his position. Throughout his career, Dr. Roeske has emerged as a leader in his field. His particular area of interest in combining his over 20 years of experience with refractive and LASIK surgery with refractive cataract and premium lens technology to produce positive outcomes using the most advanced and current technology.
Dr. Roeske is a compassionate doctor who truly cares about his patients. He has been named a Top Doctor as voted by his peers in independent surveys through Consumers’ Checkbook Guide to Top Doctors, for ten consecutive years. He has treated thousands of patients, has been awarded numerous honors and published several investigative, medical, and surgical management abstracts in prestigious professional journals of ophthalmology. Additionally, he has served as Assistant Clinical Professor and Associate Residency Coordinator at Loma Linda University School of Medicine.
Outside of his work with Ophthalmology, Dr. Roeske is passionate about helping children. Inspired by his own son’s successes with his journey with Autism, Dr. Roeske founded the R Kid’s foundation in late 2018. To date, the foundation has raised more than 2 million dollars to help provide services and programs to compromised children across various walks of life.
