Oh my goodness! The complete team at Pacific Eye is amazing! I had my right eye cataract surgery on April 4, 2025. I was amazed at how well I was able to see immediately! Iβm looking forward to having my left eye cataract surgery on May 5, 2025. I had a few questions after surgery and was able to call and get all my questions answered and the professional and in a kind manner. I met Dr. Henwood yesterday and was very impressed at her kindness and professionalism.

Dr. JoAnn Henwood & staff continued to provide the professionalism that was first experienced at their Hesperia and Apple Valley locations. Although Dr. Henwood threw me a curve ball during my light adjustment lens procedure, which I wasn't expecting but was for the best for me after she explained in detail what my situation was and what should be done. I haven't felt that good in quite some time regarding my health. I'm looking forward to the next meeting that I presume will be just as beneficial as the previous. I had a post operative exam after Cataract Surgery where I saw Dr. Henwood for perhaps five minutes. In the short time I was with her Dr. Henwood struck me as very knowledgeable and competent. She examined the eye of the surgery and instructed me to cease using the Antibiotic Eye Drops as there was no inflammation, infection or need of them at this time. That preserves their effectiveness for future needs. She instructed me to continue with the Steroid Eye Drops as instructed. Friday, Feb 3, 2023 was my one week Post Surgery visit with Dr. Henwood after the 1st of two surgeries to restore my vision. I think she is an amazing member of an incredible team of Doctors at The Pacific Eye Institute. Dr. Henwood also handled my last prep visit on Thursday, Dec 15, 2022 prior to my 1st Eye Surgery on Wed, Jan 25, 2023. I think sheβs not only an amazing doctor but extremely warm, friendly, extremely knowledgeable, patient, and comforting. It truly is no cliche but I have to express how much I literally love, appreciate, and admire this team of doctors, as well as their staff and the work they do helping restore the vision of many. I also would like to give a big shout out to Celeste and Shelly who assisted Dr. Henwood with other testing prepping me to see Dr. Henwood. The surgery team is located in Upland, CA.
